Listening to the wireless was very popular in those days. Many Hindley families must have bought there radios from this shop. |  |

Om the left is the open top electric tramcar No28 of the south lancashire tramway comp which ran from Atherton to Haydock. On the right is the steam tram and trailor, which ran from Hindley to Wigan. Which was ran by Wigan Corporation. |
